Welcome to San Diego and ECCU 2015!

Expansive ocean views and beautiful sunsets await you in San Diego, California in December! Overlooking the San Diego Bay, experience the largest urban waterfront resort on the West Coast at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego.

Take an evening (or two!) and explore the city. Located within minutes of the Manchester Grand Hyatt are several top attractions including Seaport Village, Balboa Park, Gaslamp Quarter, and of course, the beautiful beaches. Extend your stay and visit the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld or the USS Midway Museum. December is also the start of whale migration season, so you may spot mammal activity in and around the bay area.

Just a short walk from the resort, you will encounter an eclectic mix of shops and restaurants. Or, stay on property and enjoy locally sourced food and regional cuisine. In the evening, relax in the resort's lounge and take in the panoramic view.

Brothels, Bites & Booze: A Culinary Tour of SD’s Questionable Past
Gaslamp Quarter Walking Tour

Thursday, December 10, 2015, 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Ready to stretch your legs while feeding your mind and body? The Brothel, Bites & Booze Tour starts just steps from the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego’s front doors.

Why not join your colleagues in a walking history tour of San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter! ECCU attendees will have their own private tour guide to lead them through the district’s historic buildings, traveling back in time to the post-Gold Rush era when the streets of San Diego were wild and scandalous.

While on tour, stop at four local eateries and indulge in local bites. Top off the tour with a sample size cocktail at one of the Quarter’s favorite drinking establishments. Feel free to stay longer and take-in the sights of the historic district – after all, your hotel is only a short distance away!

Note: Additional food and drinks (other than samples included in the tour) are available at the individual's expense during the tour.

Event registration is now closed.
