Citizen CPR Foundation, Inc. Working to Strengthen the Chain of Survival.

The Citizen CPR Foundation

The Citizen CPR Foundation was founded in 1987 to serve as a home for a biennial conference on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). This conference, originally called the Conference on Citizen CPR, was first sponsored by the Advanced Coronary Treatment (ACT) Foundation in 1980 at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. The purpose of the conference was to provide an inspirational forum for CPR instructors to share their experiences, insights and vision. The founding members of the Citizen CPR Foundation were Carol Belmont, Ed Craren, Hans Dahll, Rumona Dickson, William Montgomery, MD, Mary Newman, Sandra O'Connell, Roxanne Perrino, Chuck Trautman and Thomas Werts.
